With building blocks, there is no limit to what the imagination can create. By comparing shapes and sizes, creating patterns or providing measuring and weighing tools, we can extend play and exploration.

Today we made an Egg Carton Caterpillar and enjoyed the nice weather outside. With the temperatures slowly rising it’s time to get creative with wonderful spring DIY crafts idea for kids and kick start kids’ art and craft imagination.  

Children enjoyed this activity so much I wish I had a hundred more shells for them to smash. We’ll definitely be saving our eggshells for future smashing sessions. Remember : use soap and water to carefully clean the eggshells and set them on a paper towel to dry.
